Who ate my candy canes?

On Christmas I had 17 candy canes.Then when I walked inside I came out and saw 3 candy canes.How many candy canes got eaten?

    it depends. if you ate them you should know how many you ate.

    Very funny Natalie. I am guessing your Evil Sister ate them Brayden, is that right? Or was it your dad, He gave up snow caps for candy canes?
    Anyway someone should answer this good math problem. It is too hard for me.
